My GPS isn't charging and it keeps shutting down

I had this model years ago. Once the battery refuses to recharge, forget it. This model and its accessories was discontinued some time ago. You might be better to buy a new one. You can try to find a charger on ebay, but I would say it's time for an upgrade anyway.

Magellan roadmate 2136t-lm When i open its say need to restart to increase performence and its close and open by imself and say same thing and close and open wow what can i do please no reset button on that ting

If the battery is still good, try reloading the software that is available online.

Connecting my magellan maestro 3200 to my computer

normally, connecting a gps to a computer results in file explorer opening and displaying the file structure. A phone does the same thing. The gps may need to be set for that - Garmin is automatic. a program that takes coord input needs to have the gps set to match what it wants as in nmea, garmin, etc.
