You should get the time from the satellites when the Magellan Roadmate 5630T-LM gets the vehicle's current GPS location. You may need to adjust the Time Zone. Press the Settings icon (wrench and screwdriver) on the Main Menu. Choose the Time Zone option (third icon down on the right side of the display in the manual). Tap the correct time zone for your area (including any daylight saving adjustments) and confirm to save the time zone. See the section of the manual on Settings starting on page 25 for how to navigate the menu. There are no details on the Time Zone section but the steps are similar throughout the menu. Power it down and then turn it back on... but make sure it is fully charged.

Is it fully charged?

Click on Tools and Settings

On most sat nabs there is a reset button look on the back you will Need a pin to push button it is quite small

Better check the car charger.

THere is nothing wrong with it. On the left side of the unit pull up the rubber cover. You will see a very small switch and a button above it or below it.
With a a pen slid the switch, and push the re set button. Then slid the switch back. and turn on the unit the way you normally do. If it doesn't light up
either you did it wrong, the unit is discharged, or there is something wrong with it. If nothing works call Magellan and if it is still under service, they will help you. Good luck to you.

Hello There, I have a Magellan myself, besides me knowing some things or two about GPS'S

Give this a try, seems to work for me and others most the time.


Try this for me to see if this works: Let me know. It needs to be rebooted. Turn off, by holding off button down. Then once it is completely off, then turn it on, BUT when you go to turn it on, keep on button depressed, all the way until it turns on and then some for about 15 seconds, now you just rebooted system. I have the same problem, no SD card in, Jungle Ghost, the problem is not being able to get to the menu as the application error screen just hangs up on the splash screen. this also happened to me when updating via application manager.I have contacted Magellan support also and they are not [email protected] is anyone has suggestions.
