it is part of the gps..when you plug your gps in to your computer via the usb cable..the hardware wizard will install your gps..youll be able to see the tfat in your computer once it is installed.

do not attempt to move any files or you might render your magellan inoperable....

follow the update instructions to the letter and do not unplug it before the update has finished.

the update isnt actually that involved, but magellan could of made it alot easier then it is...instead, they have made it very easy to mess it up, due to there poor update process.
