Lubricated the bushings on the black foam roller on the inside of the right hand door. Toner leakage is unrelated unless the drum unit gears are causing the noise, in which case, it must be replaced.

The waste toner is contained inside the belt unit that is mounted on the inside of the right hand door. Remove the screws that hold it together and dump it. Very messy so be careful. The message will go away by itself.

That is the master clamper area. Take off the rear cover. From the rear it is on the right. There is a motor and a rack gear that moves to open the drum master clamper when removing and loading a master. With the back cover removed, try to make a master while watching that assembly. You can also put the drum in and drive the motor by hand to watch and see if opens the drum clamper.
How do I erase the tapes on a Lanier VW-210
Press the telephone button first with one finger and immediately after you press that button press the rewind button, The unit should go into rewind and erase should be flashing on the digital display. Lanier p-155 won't turn on
Some times the battery contact need to be pulled out a little bit. they are located down inside the battery compartment. You can stick a small screwdriver under the battery contact and bend it upward for better contact. If that doesn't work try removing the back cover and tightening the grounding screw, which is a silver screw located by the motor pulley hole. Sometimes this screw loosens up and then the ground is lost to the entire unit
