I've got a Kelvinator dishwasher KD12MM bought second hand, the machine goes on but does not pump water. Please help

Possible that the pump has clogged or is jammed with dirt. you will need to remove the pump and clean the pump assembly for a good spray pressure. If this wont work then the pump is faulty and needs to be replaced.Check this link for tips: http://www.espares.co.uk/advice/dishwashers/a/3

Kelvinator KD12DW2 Dishwasher Machine on switch-on

Hi,

The ERROR 4 indicates that the machine is flodded...

Sounds like the base of the appliance has flooded,Unplug the appliance and drag it out.

Tip it rearward about 45 degrees, water will run out of the rear corners so a couple of towels would be handy.

Once drained, try the machine again.
You'll need to leave the machine switched off and allow it to fully dry out.

Once drained, the machine would work perfect and this should solve your issue

Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance

Kevinator dishwasher .when closing the

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/PUMP MOTOR/DRAIN to work when it is commanded .If this does not happen then the voltage at these points must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage/drive from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

When the door is closed the program controller is seft activated and so drains the water.Check and see if there is moisture or shorting on the start switch.

If the water flows then the flow should be good, if not the inlet valve is bad or there is dirt in the filter. Also check the flow at the inlet of the water line. What is most important for the motor to start functioning is that the door switch must be ON when the door is shut or this will be an error for starting the motor. The water pressure must be good and the spraying must be seen to be good. If there is low pumping or pressure then the spray arms will not turn around to inject with pressure. If so the pump must be checked for clogging.

Finally after the wash the drain valve will be activated, the water is allowed to come in to rinse and then finally the drain valve/pump activated so as to drain off all the water.

Make sure that a fault in any of the cycle will relate to the specified action, so check the command from the program module and then the executing device be it the valve or motor or pump.

Kelivinator KD14SS - I'm getting

The error code seen is due to the system tipping or hanging due to a fault of the input into the processor. So remove power and press down all pads and when it is plugged keep holding the start button. If this wont reset check with the manual to confirm.

Now it is best to identify the working so that we come closer to the fault. It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or back feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET valve to open up and allow water to flow into. My KD12mm dishwasher's dial seems

This seems a clear case of the timer program controller ebing faulty. The stepper motor has struck on to a point or the gears are worn out which causes the motor not moving the position.
The only way is look carefully and maybe resetting the stepper motor so that the timer moves.
If not the cost of a new program controller must be cheked.\
Present day electronic processors for programs are highly reliable which must be thought of in your next purchase.
