Go into your dealership with the registration document and they will give you the code. You will need the serial number and the VIN Number.

Or you can try this!

If your radio ask for a 4 digit pin number do the following.
1) On the top of the head unit there is a serial number.
2) take the last 4 digits of the radios serial number.
3) Add 1212 to your last 4 digits.
Eg. "Last 4 digits of radio serial number" 0034 + 1212 = 1246 would be your radios pin code.
Enter that number you get and press enter. Done.

Let me know if it works!

I think you are talking about the car's computer box. These are designed to live as long as the car and do not need replacing at certain intervals. Either the repair shop is trying to get more insurance money or the computer module was damaged in the accident.

The service and repair manual with diagram will give you step by step help to locate and fix the problem easily and you will get the manual from the given link https://toolsnyou.com

I suggest hooking it to a scan tool that will access the ABS/ BCM functions of the PC and find out what code it is showing. That will lead you to what the issue is.
