some bolts are tightened using a thread locking compound to make sure they wont loosen , do they look badly rusted< us a spray lube ,make sure you have the exact socket and it fits tightly, if its a hex bolt a six point or a 12 point or a torx head an make sure you have good tools that wont brake easy, and that you have leverage , if near gas tank heat or flames are not suggested good luck hope it helps you .Woody

Autozone...purchase a repair manual.

purge valve or spark plug wires....replace purge valve first..

change your spark plugs..all of them...and and put in the correct amount of oil..

crankshaft position sensor first...and/or purge valve.

first check No.5 spark plug wire closely...change if necessary....if good then change crankshaft position sensor.

if its the V6 2.7l its below the coil packs and behind cooling fan(must remove to replace it) on the side of the block, Drivers side... gonna need a flashlight and long extension...kinda hidden but its there follow the wire/connector back to the block....if its 4 cylinder its passenger side behind timing belt...must remove passenger wheel and timing belt cover..
