How to program Honeywell 5816 door sensor?
Did yoo already have one in place or is this a replacement unit. First if it is new you need to do a go no go test to see if it will work. Call tech support and they should be able to help you. You will need the serial number on the unit.
How to wire the ts-300 to a vista 20 panel?
Well you would need an open zone on the panel. If you have that then 2 wires with a resistor and 2 wires for dc power. once it is wired correctly then you would need to program the zone to activate this.Ed
How to disconnect
Ok their might be a screw on the unit to open it up. Once it is open their is 4 wires on it one for power + and one for ground - disconnect them and cap them off.

Why would the alarm stop making sound.
Is their an on board fuse on the control panel. Also what you could do to troubleshoot is disconnect the siren red wire ad touch it to a 12vdc terminal on the panel. Make sure you are not touching it to a 120ac terminal. Are you talking the keypad makes no noice or the siren does not work?

How do u reset the passcode on a honeywell alarm
There are a couple of ways, but the best thing to do is to reach out to your local alarm company and have them check your installation and configuration. They can then reset user codes and make sure the alarm panel is communicating to a central station, the specialized operations center that calls the police, fire, ambulance, etc. in the event of an alarm.
