System seems to be running fine but gates will not close.
Check "ALL" your SAFETY features from its connections to its positions, functions and settings.... check for power..... look to make sure there's no abstructions stopping the gate or operaters travel from top to bottom side to side in and out really good..... gather up all your wireless remotes to make sure there not stuck witch will counstenly tell operator to open..... look at mother board aka control board to see if any LEDS are lit up that shouldn't be atm and go from there. Be careful of electrical shock and touching/working around moving parts as it can couse injurys great bodily harm and even ***** please work with caution and safety.
I have 3 ademco keypads on my system. The system
This means that the alarm panel's backup battery is either bad or not connected. These batteries provide power for the system in case of a power outage and are essential for a solid alarm system. Look inside your control panel box ( usually in the master bedroom closet ) and see if the battery connection is just off or if the battery is missing. If it is connected, it is probably too old and needs replacement. Contact your local alarm company and they can swap out your battery or provide one for you.
FC flashing on never monitored unit
what you are looking at is a fail to communicate over the phone the panel needs to see a true analog phone line to communicate
most phones are digital phone now a days it is hit and miss with this form of communication some times it works sometimes it dosent i would suggest adding a gsm communicator for if it is digital there is a chance of it not dialing out over a digital phone line If you need further help, reach me via phone at

How do I program a 5827 wireless keypad
It's a little tricky if you're not looking directly at the manual. It also depends on the panel that your installing it on. The easiest way would be to download a programming manual for the panel and for the 5827. You will need to program in a "house id code" in both units. Follow the step by step instructions on the 5827 worksheet.
How to reset/fix an indoor motion detector?
Depends on the model of the detector, but wireless motions are not supposed to light up; if they light up they have been put into test mode, either by opening the tamper switch, removing and reinserting the battery, or by positioning an internal jumper to the test position. If the motion is a 5890(PI), remove the batteries and short the empty battery sockets for about 30 seconds to reset the low battery circuit, then reinsert the batteries and close the cover, making sure the tamper switch is properly closed. Other motions don't need this reset procedure, but do need all tamper switches closed. Ensure no one is moving near the motion and reset the keypad by entering your code plus Off (just like coming home). If everything is right and all other devices closed the ready light should come on.
How to open sensor to replace battery
Are we talking about one of the sensors or the system battery...the picture shows the system, so I will attempt to answer that. Based on the pic, the system could have any of several batteries for backup. Looking at the top of the unit, there might be a pull-up drawer in the center, which may contain either a fixed battery (the whole drawer gets replaced) or 6 AA alkalines or 1 9v alkaline or lithium battery. If there is no separate drawer, then you need to push in on the two clips at the sides on top to pop the cover open. The cover is hinged at the bottom and should open relatively freely. Inside you will find a NiMh battery pack. You might be able to get it from Honeywell, your alarm company (if you have one) or have a new pack made at a battery store. Good luck.
Other suggestions to replace a 9562wh
You can also try a 3008 roller (short body) if the contact is on the hinge side of the door...otherwise, try a 1078C...you will need to add a matching magnet to the door if you opt for the latter.
Does the keypad go to sleep
Almost certainly yes, or it would use up the battery in no time...if you need a wireless keypad that can chime or be on all the time, see if this unit has the ability to have an external transformer, or look into getting a 5828 with an external transformer...the only time the unit will go to sleep is when it loses external power for some reason...happy hunting!
What is the RF error message? And after I changed the batteries, the system still says low battery. Help. Thanks,
Is it saying "System Low Battery"? There is a NiMH battery pack inside that needs to be replaced roughly every 5 years. There a 2 clips at the top that have to be pushed in to release the cover, which is hinged at the bottom...you'll find the battery pack inside. You'll either have to try to get a replacement from the manufacturer, your alarm company (if you have one) or take the pack to a battery store and have them make one for you. Hope this helps...
Trying to change master code on 6150 vista 20
Either you are locked out of installer programming or you do not have a Vista 20...this sounds more like a larger panel such as a Vista 40, 50, or some other 4140 based system...verify the model number by opening the main cabinet. The inside cover should have a diagram of the system and the model number. However, since the boards are easily replaced, the cover label is not always accurate. Look at any labels on the printed circuit board to help you properly id the model. By the way, FC indicates Failure to Communicate, meaning the unit tried to call the monitoring center but could not get through (usually 10 attempts) and is unrelated to the "master code". Hope this helps.
The sensor panel id flashing btwn the inside temp and rlo. what does this mean?
This means that "Remote Low" is tripped...you have a TS300 sensor which is capable of monitoring both the local temp and a remote sensor (probe)...if you don't have a remote probe connected the device is either programmed wrong, malfunctioning or both. Did you install this yourself, or do you have an alarm company? If installed by a company, they need to return to correct the programming or replace the device.
