You can look in your bios if you didn't turn it off by chance.
Otherwise you erase it from your hardware and look for it again in new hardware and install.

1) Power off the computer then power it back on and begin tapping the F8 key. When the menu comes up, move the cursor to "Safe mode with networking" and do an enter
2) The computer should boot into the safe mode
3) Go to the control panel, Programs and Features, and uninstall OpenOffice.
4) If that doesn't work, download and install Malwarebytes, run a scan and get rid of the virus or malware on your machine.

The headphone jack needs to be replaced. Sound gets switched from speakers to headphone there. When the headphone plug is removed from the tablet the connection inside the jack is lost.

Laptops don't have fuses in them. All the protection is built into the battery and the charger. The most common problem with them is the charging cable gets too much stress put on it and it either breaks the wires in the cable or damages the plug in the computer. You can take the charger into a radio shack store and have them test it with a meter, you can take the laptop into a store like best buy and see if they have a charger for it and tell them you want to be sure it works before you but it and if it does not then you can be pretty sure the issue is with the charging jack. Or you can just order another charger online and take a chance.

Go to Acer website, navigate to forums, where an Acer wizard may be able to supply diagrams.
By "teardown" I guess you mean a service manual showing the innards of the notebook.
I browsed the WWW and a few manuals sites, found lots of tech specs but no teardown / service manual for Q1VZC.
Rotsa Ruck.

Can you give a location of R138?
Is it on the easy side? E.q. the side of the motherboard wich is accessible by removing the bottom plate? I see Q24, located close to CPU. If possible, post a picture of R138, with some components visible.
