Why is firefox not loading web sites properly?

if you have another browser you can use temporarily, like IE or Google Chrome...then go to your control panel, program uninstall and delete Firefox. Then use your alternate browser to go to mozilla.com and download a fresh copy of it. Install it and you should be fine. Sometimes browsers just need to be replaced..do this and let me know how it comes out.

Runs slow,23000error to many downloads and a lot more

what's the 23000 error and when and where are you getting it?

Sounds like you might have a virus or infection. Try booting up into Safe Mode then download and install MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFE MODE. Take the Safe Mode With Networking option (this will give you internet connectivity) and let it boot up. Safe Mode will look different to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this is normal. Open your internet browser then download and install MalwareBytes then run a Quick Scan.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download and install malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When the site opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do not click the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the Gui Interface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version or Decline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run a QUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be in red. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad text document will open up showing you the results. You can close the text document and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTED RESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When it finishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot your machine.

If after the above steps Mozilla Firefox is not working correctly then download and reinstall it. Don't delete or uninstall the current one yourself or you'll lose your bookmarks and settings. Let the system take care of downloading and uninstalling it so it will preserve your settings and bookmarks. Also try some of the other browsers.

Try downloading Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Google Chrome. Unlike Internet Explorer they install in less than 5 minutes and they are faster and safer than Internet Explorer.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download Mozilla Firefox" (without the quotes). Download and Install Mozilla Firefox from Mozilla's website. Do the same thing for Opera and Google Chrome.

I've put the links of each one below so if you like you can just click on them to go to their site to do the download and install.

Always having killpage every 5 minites

Try another browser. Try Mozilla Firefox or Opera, they both are very fast and safe and installs in less than 3 minutes. Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "download mozilla firefox" (without the quotes). Download and install it from mozilla's site.

Then go to www.google.com and type: "download opera" (without quotes). Download from opera's website and install it. Opera is very fast. It's also the fastest browser for cellphones.

Firefox can't find the server at mail.yahoo.com.

Hello, Hankreddyko -

Your problem seems similar to one I encountered in December 2014 with Firefox.

Eventually, I figured out what causing my problem, and I posted my solution on Fixya.com.

This is my solution from 5 Dec 2014:
http://www.fixya.com/support/t4831146-mail_cookies_rejected_yahoo_mail

I tried the steps of clearing my cookies and cache and even upgraded my Mozilla browser to the latest version, with no luck. Note: I could sign in to my Yahoo! account with Google Chrome and with IE 11. This morning, after "sleeping on it," I wondered if my "Do Not Track" settings (no tracking) on my Mozilla browser was causing the problem of "cookies rejected." First I tried signing into my Yahoo! account with "no tracking" settings through Do Not Track on Mozilla. I couldn't sign in. Then, I disabled the tracking on Do Not Track and tried signing into Yahoo! with Mozilla. Bingo! I could sign in. I have now reset Do Not Track for "no tracking." Others may wish to try this solution if the steps provided through Mozilla support don't work.

Maybe your problem has to do with "Do Not Track".

However, since you also had the same problem with Chrome, another option may be that Yahoo! Mail was down for a while. Whenever I encounter a problem of not connecting to a web site, I go to the website "Is It Down Right Now?" to check. This is the link:
http://www.isitdownrightnow.com/

I enter the website name, Example: Yahoo Mail, and click on the Check button. The results come back relatively quickly. If it seems the particular website is "down right now" or "down for just you," you will just have to wait a bit to check again.

Best wishes.

To disable all of Firefoxs add-ons, you have to open the browser in its Safe Mode by clicking Start > All Programs > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)
If that won't work, then you will just gonna have to uninstall Firefox then download and install a fresh Firefox from Mozilla.

Want to delete current internet browser for a different browser

Hello theaxeman63,
I first suggest that you download and install the browser you would like to use. Rather than uninstall Internet Explorer, you can simple delete the shortcuts from your desktop and Start Menu.
Suggested browsers:
Chrome: http://chrome.google.com/ Firefox: http://www.mozilla.com/
If you want to uninstall Internet Explorer, do the following:
  1. Click Start
  2. Click "Run"
  3. Type " appwiz.cpl " in the box and click OK
  4. Find, select Internet Explorer 7 and click "Remove"
Hope this helps!
