You will want to start by unplugging the receiver for ten aseconds. If this doesn't resolve the issue check the cable from the receiver to the TV if it is a single cable with a flat end then just ensure both ends are firmly connected. If you are using component cables with 5 colored ends (red, green, blue, white, and red) make sure the red and white audio cables are connected on both ends. If this fails to resolve the issue reply to this and I will get back to you!

I'm hooked up tp Dish Network an hit wrong button on top for volume and now pic is gone. in lower left corner says no signal., but dish is working, just no picture on screen

Hey there, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Service here. It sounds like you are going to need to change your TV back to the proper input or channel. If the TV remote is not working to change the channels you can also use the buttons on the front of the TV. First look for a button listed as either input, TV/video, source or AUX. When you press this button it will start cycling through all the inputs available, make sure to cycle through them slowly because it make take a couple seconds for the picture to come in. If you do not find a picture on any of the inputs you are going to need to try the different channels. Normally for a TV where the receiver box is the TV should be set to channel 3 or 4. Once you have found your DISH Network picture you will want to make sure to push the SAT button on the DISH remote so that it doesn't change the TV channel again. I hope you find this information useful and if you have any further questions or concerns please let me know. Thanks. :)

How come i can't use dish remote to turn up volume or turn tv on or off

Hey there, Cheri Torres with DISH Network Customer Servicehere. It sounds like your DISH Network remote is not addressed to your TV andthis is why you are not able to use your TV functions such as volume and poweron/off of the TV. In order to address your remote to your TV you are going toneed the code that works specifically for your brand of TV and also the remotemodel number. The remote model number will be located on the back of the remoteat the top usually a two to three digit number with a decimal point. I would behappy to find the code for you if you would like to email me directly [email protected] with the model number of your remote and the brandname of your TV. I look forward to hearing from you so that we can get thisissue resolve as soon as possible. Thanks and have a great day!

Toshiba CN36X81 television.. NO Sound... Great Picture. Using the TV2 output of a DISH Network HD receiver... TV2 output is std def, coax output. Using a different TV I get picture and sound... but not...

IF coming in via, the "Dish" networked receiver, please check that this volume is turned way up, on the TV. and then control the the Volume, with the Dish Remote, often this is a problem, as one is turned down, and the other cannot turn that up, simply try syncing the Volume controls, UP on TV, control the Audio with dish remote. thats all i can think of. Check by feeding a signal IN from an AV, source, ie: Yellow, Video, & Red& White, Audio. Turn TV UP and check, IF it responds to this all is well. If NOT then you do indeed have a fault, with the TV.

42PFL3603D/F7 PHILIPS HDTV

Your problem is a combination of calibration of your TV and signal strength of your Dish system. Proper color calibration will remove the motion blur and SD issues in the average home. If you continue to have poor quality on your dish system after calibration, then Dish needs to check your signal strengths again. (AND fix it.)
