I recently solved this issue with my calculator
Press and hold the time key when the date is dispalyed. When the display flashes enter the date as a six digit date (example 110608 for November 6, 2008) Time needs to be entered in military time when changing time.

Victor Adding Machine. I am looking for someone to recondition my old Victor adding machine serial number 4834-478 please.

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to Victor Calculators.

They have an interesting history.

I don't see anyone listing repairs or restoration. Surprisingly they don't fetch a lot of money, just $60 to $400 depending on model and condition. You might like to restore it yourself?

How do you set the date on a Victor 1560-6 Calculator. I held down the date button on the unit and the number is flashing. I entered 08232010 for Aug 23rd, 2010 and I am not sure of the sequence to lock...

Immediately after entering the year part of the date, the display should revert back to a blinking first digit (in this case, the 0 to the left of the 8) while retianing all the following digits just entered. Simply press the Time/Date key again to lock in that date and stop the blinking. The same process applies for the time.
To clear the display of the time/date when using the calculator to actually compute something, press the C or CE button. This will result in a 0 appearing on the display. The unit is now ready for data entry.

Adding machine can't set date & time. When I press the = sign date starts flashing I can change it but I cannot lock it in. When I press the date time button it reverts to the old time.

My machine goes this way-
Hit time/date button.
then enter in date (ie) 11.16.2009--INCLUDE DECIMAL!!!
Then hit time/date button again,

I am still working on the time issue, I just cant seem to remeber, I know it is done off military time.

Is there a way to get the time/day from being displayed? I just want 0.00 on the display. Also, I can get the time correct, but not the date. This machine does not have a time/date button, just a time...

press the CA button to get your time/day from being displayed. For your date... whenever you press the time button to edit your time, press it again & your date shouold come up. the time/date button are both done with the TIME key.

Pitney bowes 1530 / INCOMING fax date/time stamp

For the UF-595 here's how you turn the fax stamp on:
Function + 7 + copy/set for enter
scroll to option 4 + copy/set

Hit 04 + copy/set and enter number 2 to turn the fax stamp on. 1 turns it off.
Scroll to or enter 28 and choose 2 to turn the fax stamp on for faxes stored in memory for later use.

You hit the "clear" button to wipe out the current number before you enter 2 or 1 for the new entry.

Showing incorrect date - how do I change the date?

Hi,
Please change the Leithium battery fixed inside your fax machine, usually this the problem.
If the Date time is running in different date & time.

Please press Menu, then scrolle left of right arrow key. When you find set Date/Time enter the key mentioned in the Display key and change to your date & time.

After some time see if the date/time working normally. If not change the above mentioned battery.
