Please check the Thermostat switch settings. Try to put it to max cool and then see the results. If it still does not cool the you have to check the refrigent. It is lee and leaking somewhere. Get a technician and get it charged up.

slow down everyone likes to think freon leaks and thats not the case very often first off this is a sealed system (not like a car ) if you have popped a gas line you must find the leak and have it sealed or you are just throwing money away . now 1 st see if the compressor is running when the fans run if not u sould have a bad start relay . or a bad compressor also see if the back inside wall of the freezor is frozen up with ice if it is u will strange as it sounds will not cool because the air can not flow around the cooling coils . if its a 6 to 10 year old whirlpool maytag or kitchen aid i bet its the relay i see a lot of them do this at this age range

My Kelvinator N245C fridge freezer is ok but fridge not cooling when i open the freezer door , the cold air through to fridge air outlet ok but when the freezer door shut and than no air to the fridge the...

first look for an air vent in the bottom of the fridge(a small grill on the inside wall) & make sure nothing is blocking it, like bread eg: if there isn't then unplug your fridge & let it defrost, check the drain outlet in the back of the freezer, sometimes a small item like a frozen pea gets into the drain & the water freezes around it causing the air not to return to the freezer from the fridge, to push air into the fridge you must be able to get air out or it presurises,

Fridge not working but freezer is ok fridge light works

There is probably an ice build up between the two sides of the appliance. There may also be a problem with the damper unit which controls the cold air coming from the freezer side to the fridge. The fridge is controlled by the freezer. Dependant on appliance. The door opens and closes letting the cold air go into the fridge and when the fridge is cold enough the door will close agin. This is not something that you will see happening it is normally concealed behing a diffuser.

Fridge not cold

I had the same problem with fridge/freezer and repair man told me NOT to use anything that has been in freezer as what is happening is that it is constantly freezing and defrosting because there is not enough gas in the system to cool the appliance. It is possible to re-gas the appliance but service engineer advised me to claim a new fridge/freezer from company which I did. Please do NOT eat anything from freezer as could make you ill.
