I have 2 JL Audio 8W0's rated at 75 RMS. I had a MTX 280 Amp pushing them but need to replace it, what brand and size amp do you recommend for these speakers.

Take both positive leads to the positive of the amp. Both negatives from the sub to the negative of the amp. Utilize the bridged output connections. This would present a 3 ohm load which would be around 100 watts rms (rough estimate)

According to the chart your amp is only stable down to 1.5 Ohms, so running at .75 Ohms the noise you are hearing is the amp clipping (running more power than it can handle at low ohms)
I would suggest wiring it in series, or you could adjust the gain on the amp until the popping goes away.

try getting an amp to match the RMS i would say maybe mtx rockford or hifonics becuse they have true wattage an will give u the peak an rms of what ever woofer u use

these subs are rated at 400 watts rms ... hope this helps

If the 1,000 watts is RMS, I'd recommend an amp in the 750-1,000 watt RMS range, perhaps like the Alpine MRP-M1000 or Rockford-Fosgate T1000bd. If the 1,000 watts is peak power, the subs continuous (RMS) power handling is much lower, probably 300-400 watts. In that case, I'd recommend the Alpine MRP-M500 or Rockford-Fosgate T500-1bd.

If you are running just the front channels to 2 CM1635's, you will need a 2-channel marine certified amp with approximately 50 watts RMS output per channel.

The MB Quart NAU-260 here would be a good inexpensive choice.

For a little more power and quality, I'd recommend the JL Audio M2150.

To run both front and rear channels, you need a 4-channel amp with 50 watts RMS per channel.

The Kicker MX350.4 marine certified amp would be a good choice.

It can but it'd be a waste for your subs. 1 of those by itself will handle that amp. it'll push them just not really hard, i'd recommend an upgrade to a 1100-1200 watt rms amp if you're gonna run 2 cvx's. if you only run one sub that amp'll work well...

I believe these are 4ohms, if so buy a 2ohm stable monoblock amp, that puts out 250-300 watts RMS, and connect your subs to it in parallel, don't pay attention to peak watts, look at RMS watts, or continuous watts. If they're 2 ohms, buy a 2 ohm stable 2 channel amp that puts out 125-150 watts RMS per channel, and 250-300 watts total or bridged RMS output. you should move up to more power....underpowering subs is bad! try not to go under the subs rms by 5o watts?
