What amp should I use?

Yes they information available on them they are still around. You will need a class-D 300 watt RMS amp to run them at perfect power if i remember right they are 150 watt RMS,, 450 watt max per sub.// just never mind the max it means nothing. They are a 4 ohm sub i believe so you would want to get a 1 ohm stable amp. two 4 ohm subs can be run at 1 ohm wired in series. they are actually made by audio vox corp.to wire them is easy ill give a link to do so easy to use. and handy. let me look for some info on your sub...? Yes there is info out there here is another link. Need additional help give a shout. Rockford Fosgate Woofer WiringWizard JENSEN XS1010 Specs

Hi i have two 10

I believe these are 4ohms, if so buy a 2ohm stable monoblock amp, that puts out 250-300 watts RMS, and connect your subs to it in parallel, don't pay attention to peak watts, look at RMS watts, or continuous watts. If they're 2 ohms, buy a 2 ohm stable 2 channel amp that puts out 125-150 watts RMS per channel, and 250-300 watts total or bridged RMS output. And connect them normally, on sub per channel... hope this helps, as far as brand recommendations, MTX, pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood... Good luck

What size should i make the enlcloser

If looking for LOUD, ported enclosure is the way to go.

If looking for accuracy, build sealed. You will need approx 2 cu ft
To tune this 2 cuft box around 50Hz, you need (1) 4" round port 5" long.

MTX recommends an enclosure of 2cuFt ea. You will only be able to use 1 subwoofer in this application.

Even a sealed enclosure is recommended 1.25cuFt.

You can shove 2 in the vented enclosure, but you may not be happy with the outcome

Dont know how to wire a subwoofer

Hello,

The Jensen XS1010 is a 4-ohm sub and should work properly off of the outputs of most any single channel monoblock sub amp or off a bridged 2-channel. You did not say what brand or type of amp you intend to use, but in any case, there's only 2 wires to connect to the sub, one positive (+) , the other negative (-). Simply match them up with the positive and negative on the amp speaker output and you are ready to bump.

Here's the link to Jensen's website:

http://mobile.jensen.com/jensen/

I'd recommend downloading the XS1010 manual. They recommend an enclosure with at least .75 CuFt internal volume.

If this helps, please rate it as "FixYa". Thanks!

Home theatre subwoofer

Sounds like you have a loose signal lead. Check to see if this cab be tightened if not replace the cable as this could be the cause of the problem. Over time the leads/plugs do loosen especially on subs as they vibrate so much. If it's not this then it's probably something internal to which I am reluctant to advise you on looking at yourself unless you are pretty proficient with electronics :P

Jensen vm0312 is on, but tray will not flip up

It sounds like there may be an issue with the mechanical components of the DVD player, specifically with the tray. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check to see if the emergency eject feature is working. There should be a small hole on the front of the DVD player, and you can use a paperclip or a similarly sized object to push the button inside. This should manually eject the tray.
  2. Make sure that the DVD player is receiving power. Double-check all of the connections and fuses.
  3. Reset the DVD player by disconnecting the power for a few minutes, then reconnecting it and trying again.
  4. If none of the above steps work, it may be necessary to take the DVD player apart and check the mechanical components for damage or wear. However, this is not recommended unless you have experience with electronics repair.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, you may need to seek the assistance of a professional electronics repair technician.
