Hi ~~~

The zoom lens on my old Minolta's (Standard EZ, 8 X - 20x50, 2.6 X 20) has broke and won't work. Is this something I can fix myself?

I have a pair of pentax 10x42 DCF HRc binoculars that will not focus properly througn the right eyepiece. Just wondering if this is a common problem and is it worhtwhile getting repaired

The binos will rack focus both at the same distance, you need to rack focus left side to distant image with left eye only, then turn diopter focus to focus right eyepiece. Diopter focus is thinner wheel behind focus wheel

Need info on sigma "eagle series" 10x42 binoculars

Try Adorama camera in New York. They are good to deal with. Binoculars.com also used to carry parts but I have found since they sold to a conglomerate their customer service is wanting and i switched to Adorama. They also post international.

The right hand lens came loose and fell off. Where can I buy a replacement?

You can't get a replacement part yourself, the only fix is to return the binoculars to Bushnell for repair.

If you're in the USA or Canada then your binoculars will be covered by Bushnell's Limited Lifetime Warranty; this applies only to the original purchaser and excludes misuse or any evidence of unauthorised repair attempts. If the warranty does not apply then you will still need to send the product back to Bushnell for a repair estimate.

If you are outside north America, then warranties and repair processes may be different and you'll need to contact the Bushnell office for your part of the world.

Note that as your binoculars are relatively cheap and can be purchased new for US $123.39 it may be better to sell yours on an auction site for spare parts and purchase a new pair. If you were not the original purchaser you then get the benefit of not only a brand new pair of binoculars, but the Limited Lifetime Warranty would also give you future protection.

I hope that my reply has been of assistance, if so please take a moment to rate my answer.

I need rubber eye pieces for our 10x42 bushnell explorer binoculars how do I find replacement parts

This depends on where you are geographically located. If you are in Australia there are only one or two people who can help. If you are in the USA the same applies. Try typing in "binocular repairs" into Google and see what pops up. For example in Australia you will find "The Binocular & Telescope Shop" and "York Optical" pop up.

Black particles in binoculars

if you black spots then they are more than likely on the eyepiece field lense. dont know what kind of bino you have, if its cheap then probably not worth repair. this problem was usually found in the old zeiss. they used a black wax to seal them, and they are worth repair because they last [email protected]

Cabelas Alaskan Guide 10X42

I agree with you on that! I have a feeling they are either Nikon or Leupold sourced. The body is alot like green ring leupold ive seen but the lenses have a magenta multicoating on a lens surface which ive seen on nikon. I'm in the process of looking for the maker of them myself as I need an objective lens. I'm going to call the Cabela's Cust SVC number and see what they say. I've heard the new Euro styled binoculars are made by Meopta.
