The rear lens may have to adjusted for focus at this magnification. If you adjust it at this setting it may be better in focus in the lower settings for you.

Nikon Prostaff 3 Laser Rangefinder

You would obviously expect something superior from Nikon. Well, this renowned company will not disappoint you. They have maintained their expert quality, but that does not make the product expensive. Nikon Laser Rangefinder gives you a crystal-clear image at a very low price.
With the launch of Nikon Prostaff 3, two categories of rangefinder seekers have got something to rely on for their ranging needs. Golf players belong to one category while others who want to get top features but maintain a budget belong to another category. Many hobbyists and professionals are getting keen on using rangefinders. It enables hunters and golfers to have a smooth field of view. It gives you enough range and brightness for clear sight. Nikon Prostaff 3 Laser Rangefinder has created some buzz among outdoor lovers. The multicolored display is adequately bright and able to show distances in meters and yards.
There is a continuous measurement mode that facilitates multiple measurements without requiring users to make any additional adjustments each time they switch targets. This mode helps users to gauge the accurate distance between particular objects and their current positions.

Why not measure the item and find out ?

As far as I know, you point it at something a distance away and press the power button. They're a very simple device but will likely not work indoors or over very short ranges.

If you're still having problems with it, it should still be under warranty, I would return it to the store immediately. If you have any issues with the store staff, do not leave the device with them and contact Nikon directly for help with warranty. You should never have issues with a product out of the box.
