Where is the battery located on the dixie chopper silver eagle

Follow the large red wire from the battery to where it terminates at the starter with a smaller black wire. Follow the black wire to the fuse (holder).

No... some Dixies you remove the large plate towards the front. I'm not exactly sure with that model, could be the bar the seat rests on but removing engine bolts would be wrong way to go.

check for short in solenoid or wiring

put hand on it , will feel it

there isn't such a thing... it's either a hydro (motion) belt or the deck drive belt. Dixie's also sometimes had 2 belts for the deck... the drive belt and the blade belt. your model number should be under the seat
