When I plug in headphones the tv, the sound still plays through its speakers and not through the headphones. How do I get the sound to play through the headphones?
There is no OPTION on the menu. There is only Setup, Audio, Video, and Feature. Under Audio, there is Digital Audio Output, TV Speaker, and Settings. There is no OPTION on the menu. There is only Setup, Audio, Video, and Feature. Under Audio, there is Digital Audio Output, TV Speaker, and Settings.

Normally , you would expect the TV sound to stop when headphones are plugged in. Obviously not in this case. If you have a set of headphones, try them and see if the TV still has speakers on. If it does, then there may be a setting on the setup of the TV to get headphones to work. If the TV speakers stop, then I would think that the Logitech are not compatible with the TV. The only other thing would be is to get into the TV and disconnect the TV,s own speakers. If the wires are soldered on and not terminal connected, carefully cut 1 of the wires off near the speaker. If 1 wire is cut, the speaker wont work. Make sure both the TV and the additional speakers (If they have their own power supply) you are using are unplugged from the power before you go doing this...!
To switch between speakers and headphones on Firefox, make sure your headphones are plugged in first, Right click on volume on the bottom right corner of your screen, Then select Volume Mixer, then double click on System sounds, Click on the playback tab, then you could switch between speakers or headphones, just select one and click "set default" and OK only sounds in firefox will play in the headphones, and windows media player will play on the speakers
You could leave your windows media player to play on the speakers while you listen to firefox videos in the headphones
If you want the media music player to play in your headphones also; You have to change it in the media player program, go to options on the media player, then look for playback devices, there should be 2 options speakers and headphones, just pick one
I usually set the firefox audio to my headphones, and a media player to the speakers
Yes, it's very simple. Connect the computer speakers to the headphone socket on the TV, then run a separate audio cable from the PC to the TV. A PC monitor cable wont carry an audio signal so you need to connect an RCA type cable or similar - depending on whether you have corresponding audio OUT sockets on the PC and audio IN sockets on the TV.
You will then have sound from both the PS3, the PC, and the TV on the computer speakers. The TV speakers will automatically switch off when something is plugged into the headphone socket.

Go to the icon tray and double click the speaker icon. Have a look in the Advanced controls to see if you have taken the mute off the pc speaker. There might also be an option to play sound on the pc speaker simultaneously with the headphones. If so, uncheck the dual play box so the sound will not play through the pc speaker when you have the headphones plugged in.
plug the stereo headphone jack to your dvd headphone output then connect it to your tv audio/video in and press the tv/video switch in your tv remote control.
Dear friend, Try connecting a pair of Headphones to the Headphone socket in the front of the TV. Do you get sound in both headphones? If yes, then it means that the Right speaker has become faulty. No sound in Right Headphone? Then the Audio Amplifier IC has to be replaced.
