Lan card not found

Please, follow the instructions below, and reply with the status of your LAN driver:
Start>Control Panel>System & Security>Device Manager>Network Adapters...

Find your LAN card and see if it has a question mark by it. Try to right-click on it and update the driver. If that doesn't work, uninstall the driver, reboot your computer, and re-install the driver.

Also, let me know what model computer your using and whether or not its Windows XP..

Thank you!

Compaq Presario 2050NX onboard pnp nic (LAN) device not found - reinstalled onboard LAN device driver, still can't see it

For Windows XP CLICK HERE
In Windows 7 the driver installs automatically
I would suggest uninstalling all drivers for the network adapter then reboot and allow the system to find the NIC again. If this is Windows XP uninstall all drivers for the NIC, reboot, and install the above driver.
If it is Windows 7 uninstall the drive, reboot and allow device manager to locate the driver itself.

LAN card no longer recognizable after software download

So your Cable Ethernet works, but your WiFi doesn't? OR? Anyway go to device manager an uninstall the LAN/WiFi, whichever one isn't working, but not BOTH, and remove connection & reboot, at next boot, if OK it will find drivers and reinstall. If it cannot find drivers you will need to download them from ACER,and install & reboot.

I have a Dell and net adapters doesnt work

Uninstall and reinstall LAN drivers and Broadcom drivers.
Press Windows key and R key simultaneously to open Run Window.
Type "devmgmt.msc" and click on OK.
This will open Device Manager.
Click on "+" sign next to Network Adapters and right click on the network adapter and select Uninstall.
After uninstalling right click on Network Adapters and select scan for hardware changes.
This will reinstall the drivers.
Sometimes windows prompts you to restart the computer to reinstall the drivers automatically.
You can even reinstall the new LAN and Broadcom drivers from your Dell website provided they have new version of these drivers.
After reinstalling the drivers, check if the adapters work.
If the adapters still don't work, the issue could be with the hardware.
You may even try with recovering your PC using Dell Factory Recovery.
Before performing Recovery, take the backup of your hard disk as the Recovery process will restore your notebook completely to factory settings.
