MP4 Driver Please help! Just bought an MP4 player. It came with a CD, but the CD only has software, no drivers to install the player. My computer does not recognize the player at all. Everytime I plug it in, I get the pop up stating unrecognized USB. I am running windows XP and the player is compatibale with this. There is no brand name. All it says is MP4 Digital Player.

Did you get a device driver CD along wit the MP4 player? If yes, then install the software before inserting the mp4 player to your computer.

i can't put music in my mpa he ask me for the disk...

Usually, just plugging in the mp3 player to the computer via usb cable will install the driver automatically on the computer. Make sure you have an internet connection on that computer you are connecting your mp3 player to.

Was there a CD with the mp3 player? If there was, the driver is probably there, and all you need to do is install the CD on your computer.

After searching the Archos website, I could not find the drivers for any of the mp3 players unfortunately. If the problem persists, you should tell Archos you have the "Archos 3Cam Vision Mp3 Player" as your product.

It is not required to install any Driver for connecting the Walkman Player to the Computer. The Driver for recognizing the Walkman Player as a MTP Device is already installed in the Computer. You can install the supplied Windows Media Player 11 Software for transferring the files to the Player. You can either Drag and Drop the files using the Windows Explorer to the MUSIC Folder which appears as a Removable Drive or can use the Windows Media Player 11 for transferring. If the Player is not recognized by the Computer, try connecting to different USB ports and try re-installing the USB Driver from the Device Manager.

Hi! Can you see an icon namely setup in amv transfer tool or AMV tool setup? If yes then double click it and it will install the software needed to run your player. And after the software and drivers get installed connect your player to your pc.

The computer recongize it as a removable disk.
plug in your mp4 player
click start
click computers
click removable disk
formate the disk
copy and paste you songs.
