Pinched flow tube ? it boils through the tube then shuts off @ boiling no pump yet >

My Keurig was pumping ok but half of the water was flowing back into the reservoir. I did a descaling cycle and when the water would dispense I pinched the overflow tube to stop the water from flowing back into the reservoir tank. I did this for about a reservoir and a half of water. This seems to have fixed the problem. i am getting full cups again and the water is no longer flowing back into the water tank. Hope this helps!

Ok ..continuing to have a overheating prob. w/a 2005 Lincoln LSV8...refilled the coolant tank (used mostly water) started her up and let it idle for 15-20 min. it did lose coolant from some where under the...

First there is but one water pump, next did you bleed the air out of the cooling system as directed in the factory manual? If you did then the engine may have a leaking head gasket. Water pump picture below. You may also have a leak in the recovery tank, but that would not cause the overheating unless you let it run dray. This engine is very easy to damage if overheated, think you should let an expert look at this problem.

I have a Zoeller Water Ridd'r II Model 48 Sump pump. The pump comes on okay, but will nit shutoff. The float is not impededd, it's just laying on the bottom of the sump. Is this a defective...

If I undrestand your description, when the resevoir is empty, the float lays on the bottom of the resevoir but, the pump doesn't shut off, after water is pumped out? You have to look at this as opposite of a toilet tank filling with water. In a toilet, the water rises and the foat turn the water flow off. In a sump the water will rise, and the float will turnthe pump on until the resevoir is empty, then it will open the system and turn off the pump. If the float doesn't rise, the resevoir will overflow and the pump won't come on at all. If the float rises and the pump comes on but, the float does "not" drop, the pump will continue to run after the resevoir is empty.

This is Zoellers link. I don't see your pump but they do have a support link. If the float rises and falls with the height of the water, turns pump on, then drops "all the way" and pump doesn't turn off, the switch is bad not the float. Make sure there is nothing in the way of the float dropping to it's full down position.

97 cadillac eldorado overflowing through overflow pipe

The most common overheating problem with the Northstar engine is a blocked purge line. It's job is to purge air out of the cooling system.
There is a small diameter hose coming from near the top of the coolant tank(not the cap),this is the purge line.
With the engine idling, pull the purge line from the tank,if there is no coolant flow from this small hose,it is blocked and this will cause overheating. If the hose is clear, check for blockage at the nipple on the tank.Or trace the hose back until you find the blockage. The hose goes in to the engine to a crossover and comes out the other side to near the thermostat housing, the blockage may be there.

Pumping more water out than what i put in

This coffee maker uses a resevoir tank system - the water you pour in pushes out water that is already heated - the water you pour in won't actually be used for that pot of coffee! For that reason you should only use full pitchers when filling. You may need to cycle through 2 or 3 fillings before the input matches the output once more. The capacity of the resevoir is about 3 pitchers; you can brew 2 pots in a row before the machine needs a break to bring the resevoir back up to temperature.
