Frigidaire Affinity front loading washer will not spin

My Affinity is almost 2 1/2 years old. I will not spin with a load, but will spin w/o a load. Any suggestions on what it could be?

My Affinity doing the same. Changing lock assembly does not resolve the problem.

does the drum move as you spin it (if so poss stuts) makes a scrapping sound

Frigidaire Affinity Glacier Stackable upright washer. Washer will not agitate and makes a buzzing sound from the pump that extracts water from the drum. Water collects and remains in bottom of washer.

Yes, the original issue was the control from the beginning. the control is damaged and it cannot register the latch at this point. this is necessary and , it will fix the issue.

Frigidaire Affinity front load washer will not spin

sounds like the impeller on the drain pump is blocked. Noise could be coins trapped in drum. Check filter thoroughly, if you cannot remove blockage you may have to remove tubes from pump to clear out any blockage.
