I think its telling you that either the water level is low or its not filling if on automatic fill ,
Unplug the power cord, 10 seconds before plugging in again and turn on the device again. If the first did not work.. do it again..... this seems to be the very first option to clear the error.
Here are some remedies that might actually clear the errors cause these are the reasons:
1. Look inside your device by removing the chrome cover plate of the shelf (using a philip screw driver), where cups are laying.. Examine carefully if the Prestor part is unable to carry out its function properly. Remove anything that blocks it. residue and particles of grind coffee. You can use a vacuum to **** it.
2. Error 8 was a wedge set part of the prestor had pushed outward the flexible. Try removing the drip tray and unplug your device wait for 10 seconds before plugging it again and turn on the device. After that return back the drip tray.
After you tried these tricks go on the first option again.
Hope that helps.

Hi, this is not an Impressa E9. The model number is CM210 from Gaggenau and it is built into the cabinetry. I did indicate that I had unplugged the machine from the main for a length of time and this did nothing even after repeatedly doing this. Your other option 1 must refer to the Impressa 9 as my machine is built in and does not have the chrome cover plate you refer to. Any other ideas?
Hi, My machine is a Gaggeanau built in Model CM210 which does not correspond to the Jura model pictured. My model is built into the cabinetry. The suggestion to unscrew something does not coorespond to my model.
In my question I indicated that I had unplugged the unit from the main and plugged it back in with no results. AFter doing this many times, still no results.
Even though my model is Gaggenau CM 210 which is built in, it is not plumbed in. The water level is not low. This model has another message when the water is low or the beans are low.
No, this is not the case.
As I said in my original question, I did unplug machine an d plug it in with no results. Have tried this numerous times. My model is Gaggenau CM210 which is a built into cabinetry model and not the model you mention. I do not understand your point#2--"wedge set part of the prestor"
