Hi, I have a similar problem with power on of my HP Officejet 1175c as it does not turn on, when I press the turn on bottom. But if I wait some minutes it might power up for a few seconds and then turn off again. I have tried then to press the "Menu bottom" for a second, and it then sometimes power up and once it is up and warmed up it might print for hours, if you keep it busy. But if you leave it for a while, it normally turns off again and goes back to the "turn off / turn on" switching mode.
I cannot turn off the printer, but has to let it fall into "sleeping mode" and then takes the power from the source.
Does any body have a better more permanent solution, I would really like to have it. Could you replace the power on switch or unit?
Best regards Dan

This is the only Reset procedure. It is a just a printer, not a computer or a phone ;>)

Please see below for resetting the printer:
  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

How to disconnect warning light on bottom of fuel filter on coaster diesel 1991..?

The electronic switch on the top of the fuel filter housing is the fuel filter warning switch.
To reset the warning light on the cluster you need to do this:
1. With the ignition switch off, disconnect the fuel filter warning switch connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch from off to ON.
3. After more than 3 seconds but less than 60 seconds have elapsed, reconnect the connector.
4. After approximately 3 seconds have elapsed with the fuel filter warning switch closed, the
system confirms the deletion of the illumination information by turning off* the warning light.

My Officejet 4315 All-in-One is printing very very slow How do I fix this problem? I have restarted it and unplugged then replugged it and have restarted the computer and it still prints really really...

The very first thing you need to do determine whether the issue is in the Hardware or in the Software for that on the printer .
1. Load plain paper in the tray.
2. Press the Setup button
3. Press 2 to select Print Report
4. Press 4 to select Self-Test Report . The self-test page prints.
Measure the time (in seconds) it takes for the test page to prints. If the test page prints in less than 60 seconds , this is normal print speed and you do not need to troubleshoot. If the test page prints in more than 60 seconds , go to the next step.
Important ;
Some products print faster than others. If the test page exceeds 60 seconds, and other documents you print typically take as long, the print speed is normal. Troubleshoot this issue only if your product is designed to print faster than about 60 seconds a page or if printing is slower than usual.
***** IF THE PRINT SPEED IS MORE THAN 60 SEC.
Check the power supply. to check the power supply you need to follow these steps.
1. Turn the product so that you can access the rear side.
2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
3. Remove any devices between the product and the power outlet, such as surge suppressors or power strips.
4. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet.
5. Print and time a self-test again.
If the test page prints in 30 seconds or less , the problem relates to the power supply. Replace devices between the product and the power outlet, or leave the product connected directly to the wall outlet. If the test page takes significantly longer than 30 seconds to print, continue to the next solution.
CHECK THE CARTRIDGE COMPATIBILTY.
Incompatible cartridges can cause the slow printing problem.
Which cartridges you use depends on your country or region. To check the cartridge compatibility you can go to this site (for hp printers) http://www.hp.com/buy/suresupply and check The number on the cartridge label must match the numbers listed on HP SureSupply.
PERFORM A RESET.
1. Press the Power button and turn off the printer.
2. unplug the power cord. Disconnect the data cable(USB,Ethernet depending upon the the product set up). wait for 30 secs. reconnect all the cable and than try to print a test page.
if these steps resolves the issue than you dont need to continue troubleshooting or if the issue persist than Replace the Power supply for your product.

Hp officejet pro 1175c printer with windows xp ?

This model is discontinued and, according to HP, unsupported now. They do not have, nor will they have drivers/support for it. You can not even BUY a driver CD for them to send, as they don't offer one.

BUT.. if you go onto HP's Live Chat and tell them you need drivers, etc., they'll tell you the same.. but they should also offer you a 'great bargain' -- which would be to upgrade to a supported model (newer) that is a refurbished unit at a 'minimal cost' (which I don't know what the amount is- sorry).

Just make sure you have your SERIAL NUMBER from the unit available.

Then you can decide if it's worth it.. or ...
second option would be to go out to a store and purchase a newer model.

Sorry... that's as good as it gets...there are no drivers posted anywhere for XP and this unit!
