Hiiii... i have a compaq persario 2000 laptop connected to reliance data card. the problem is when data card is connected the status of internet shows as connected , but whe i try to enter any website the page displays mesage as " cannot open the page " " diagnoise internet connecting settings" inspite of internet status showinfg as connected. i have cros checked the data card with reliance problem and they said there is no problem with data card.

Check fire wall setting if u have a back up for ur security soft remove it from the computer and try disabling all startup items
