I also have this unit with the same problems. After lamenting on making a poor purchase decision, I found somewhat of a solution. Basically, water is not being expelled during the dry cycle. I am having the same problem on a WD9900A. The wash cycle works great. Spins fast and clothes are completely rung out. Dryer cycle heats up well. Fluffs and heats cloths. At some point during dry cycle water is injected on clothes and they end up sopping wet; much wetter than after wash. Filter is clear. Outlet pipe clear and functions well. Possible problem with dryer timer? Or washer timing kicking back on?

The pump either got some old sock in it, or the pump cold be clogging up with left over sop,

Check pumping out well If not clear filter 1st

you can remove the bottom access panel to get to the drain pump. there might be something in the coin trap.

Too much laundry in your machine. Try a smaller load and see if you have the same problem

The washer will not ever completely drain according to Maytag. A certain amount of water stays in the outter tub for balancing the machine for final hyper-spin. However if the machine is not spinning all of the water out and your clothes come out sopping wet....read the long thread I typed out to another person earlier.....it's about 2-3 questions up on the same topic
