I just found an old (about a year and a half old) Jabra bluetooth freehands device. However, every time I try to pair it with my phone, it can't find the device. the model of the device is GNM-0TE3. my phone is a nokia, although i tried using another phone, samsung to pair to the device, and had the same result. The handsfree device was on while I was trying to connect with the light blinking. I can't find an explanation to this except that possibly the device was paired with another phone when it was just bought and now can only work with that specific phone. Is that how these things operate?

Cannot pair my iphone 4 with jabra sps5050

The reason is you need a four digit code in order to pair your Bluetooth to your phone. Also, your phone has to be 'Able to be found', ie, set your Bluetooth settings on your phone, so that the phone is in 'Discoverable Mode' and ensure the Bluetooth setting itself is also turned on.

Once your phone is Bluetooth discoverable, try and pair the devices again. Your phone will find your headset and ask if you would like to pair the two devices. Obviously, select Yes/Pair and it will then require a 4 digit code for authentication. With Jabra the code is always "0000" (4 zero's). Once you enter the 4 zero's, the two units will then pair successfully.

Let me know if you require further assistance.

I cannot get my Blackberry Storm to pair with my Jabra BT2070.

You have to first put the Headset into discoverable mode. According to the Jabra website, this is done by pressing and holding the end/mute button until the light comes on steady. Follow the procedure for your phone to pair a bluetooth device to it. The PIN code will be 0000.

I need instructions to pairing the Jabra BT2020 bluetooth to a PS3 system. I've misplaced the directions to the headset unit.

Go to this site, and it will walk you through each step to connect your particular Jabra headset with your cellphone. Choose the headset, and then at the next page, choose your phone. Moving your mouse over each step will change the picture to what you should be seeing on your phone at each step.

Jabra BT2050 Bluetooth Headset not found on cell phone? I turned on the headset, and when i search for it, the headset doesn't show up. My phone just says "no new devices", and its not a known device

Try pairing it again. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on phone, turn the BT2050 on by pressing and holding the side power button. Then, press and hold the center (round) button for at least 10 seconds (light will stay solid and it is now on pairing mode). Follow instructions on your phone. Hope this helps.

How do i program my jabra bt125 headset to my cell phone

taken from the manual found at

http://www.jabra.com/sites/Jabra/GNimages/Products/WirelessHeadset/BT125%20Black/Documents/User%20manual/BT125_UM_NA_EN_471.pdf

1. Put the headset in pairing mode
• Make sure the headset is off .
• Press and hold the answer/end button until a solid blue light comes on.

2. Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ the Jabra BT125
Follow your phone’s instruction guide. This usually involves going to a ‘setup,’ ‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the option to ‘discover’ or ‘add’ a Bluetooth device.* (See example from a typical mobile phone in fig. 3).

3. Your phone will find the Jabra BT125
Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ on the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN = 0000 (4 zeros). Your phone will confirm when pairing is complete. In case of unsuccessful pairing, repeat steps 1 to 3.

Can't get new Jabra BT8040 to connect to LG Env3

I have the env Touch and the Jabra Halo. Initially, I had a problem pairing the two, then I realized that I was not following the directions properly. The manual shows two sections for pairing ("first time pairing" and "later pairing"). I was following the instructions for the former when I should have been following the latter. I also failed to notice that the BT indicator was flashing blue and not solid blue, as it needs to be, for pairing mode. So, if you haven't already done so, follow the instructions for "later pairing" here. Make sure that you see the SOLID blue light on the BT indicator on the headset when you try to pair.

Charged earpiece doesn't communicate with cell phone

My advice would be to re-pair the two devices. In the Bluetooth menu on you phone find 'paired devices' and delete the headset from the list. Next you will need to put the Bluetooth headset into pairing mode. Make sure it is switched off and then press and hold the power button on the headset and keep pressing it ( some headsets need to also have the up volume button pressed at the same time). What should happen is either a solid blue light of alternate flashing of two colours. (pairing mode varies on different headsets and you made need instructions or call Jabra) At this point on the phone in the Bluetooth menu search new devices. It should find your headset and request pairing code. Code should be '0000' or some headsets use '1234'. This should now set up a fresh pairing and work again. Hope that helps.

Third, as soon as you get a solid light try pairing up with your cell phone.
