I have IBM Thinkpad Desktop PC,Model is MT-M 8429-RG7.This bios setting is in French.I am unable to go furthur.How to bring that setting to english.

in the bios look for the word "langue" then choose English and the save

this thing is very very old. most are in the land fill , 15 years old.
try the coin cell trick yet, Pulled and big battery out first.
both batteries out. and AC pack fulled
push power button 10seconds or 3 times for 3 secends.
let PC reset for 1 your.
back COIN , then AC pack and leave the useless or WORSE
antic huge battery out of PC and test the PC now.
if that fails, try, same words you used on YT (youtube)

You`ll need to re-flash your BIOS with the English version..

And then you will get your BIOS in english language

try to reset the bios reseting your bios will restore it to its default setting, then reboot again check if the laguage has been change

It would be in your manual but I know a lot of manufacturers don't even send them out anymore to save a buck. Go to the pc's website and type in your model and it should bring up a manual for you with all the information on it.

First of all if you re formatted the drive You have lost ALL of the information on that drive. Next you don't need to go through BIOS in order to boot from a disk. You can press F8 on the screen that you would normally enter BIOS with.
