From yesterday i acn't open any file.when i try to open any file ''open with '' window came.i can only open folders but not file or say programme..plz help to solve this problem
I honestly have been having the same problem. There's no issue of the computer recognizing the external hard drive, but when I try to open anything (picture, mp3, movie file) it will say that it cannot find the file specified, as if none of the files were even there.
My hard drive is my H drive, and for some reason it will not open files, regardless of what I do.
Needless to say, I very much need every ounce of data on this drive, which is why I took it off of my laptop in the first place. For protective purposes.
If there are any suggestions for going about getting these files to open (or somehow 'finding' them), please let me know. I feel incredibly silly not being able to use this drive after having it work beautifully since only Christmas.

Navigate to the folder containing the XLSX file you want to repair.
Right-click the file and select "Copy" and then right-click on a blank space within the folder and select "Paste." This action generates a backup copy of the corrupted file.
Open Microsoft Excel 2007 or later.
Click the "Office" button in the top left corner of the window and select "Open."
Navigate to the folder containing the copy of the XLSX file you generated previously and select it by single-clicking its icon.
Click the arrow located to the right of the "Open" button and select "Open and Repair."
Select "Repair." If you previously attempted this method and the process failed, try to extract only the values and formulas by selecting "Extract Data" instead. Regardless of the method you choose, your data will appear on the screen within a few seconds if the process completes successfully.
1) Try this.If the the file is .ppt, rename it to be .pptx. Then open those PowerPoint files. 2) If it does not work, repair your Office 2007 installation or do a System Restore to a time when you could open the open the files without any problems. To do System Restore follow these steps: Click My Computer, select C: In C: , select Windows folder In Windows folder, open system32 folder Now, double click rstrui to do System Restore to the time before you install protector plus antivirus 2010 trial version After system restore, you pc will restart and your files will be restored. Now try to open the files. Good luck!
This sounds a lot like something has taken over administrative rights to your computer, and limiting your access to your own folders. Try running Malwarebytes anti-malware to see if you have a trojan, rootkit or malware on your PC then try this program called unlocker1.8.7 to see if it will unlock the folder and give you permission to open it.
to unhide file extensions to see what you have in XP open my computer (or windows explorer) Tools/Folder Options/View ...change 'Do not show hidden files and folders' to 'Show hidden files and folders' uncheck 'Hide extensions for known file types' if you wish you can uncheck 'Hide protected operating system files'
to unhide file extensions to see what you have in Vista open my computer (or windows explorer) Organize/Folder And Search Options/View ...change 'Do not show hidden files and folders' to 'Show hidden files and folders' uncheck 'Hide extensions for known file types' if you wish you can uncheck 'Hide protected operating system files'
What ever you do DO NOT INSTALL THAT, that a program that will monitor you via your cam!
This is what i found about it and how you acn revove it:
"The file is not a Windows system file. The program has no visible window. FixCamera.exe is located in the Windows folder, but it is not a Windows core file. The program is loaded during the Windows boot process (see Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run). FixCamera.exe is able to monitor applications. Therefore the technical security rating is 62% dangerous"
Hi Bry, this is so common with, my web search program.
Try this. Right click once on the start button, (A pop-up window will open), slide up to Explorer & left click on it once. Right click once on the C:\ drive & left click Search from the list.
In the search top window type the name of the file: m3plugin.dll Click search. Windows will find the file. Right click once on the file m3plugin.dll listed in the right hand side of the search window & left click Copy from the list. Windows Explorer is still opened. Scroll down to the folder, Program Files & left click the plus sign next to it. Program Files will open & you'll see all kinds of folders. Find the Mywebsearch folder & open it. Find the folder 1.bin, Right click once on that folder & left click past from the list. Close all opened windows & restart the system.
