I can't download a microsoft

Hi
In the event that the software was obtained by downloading, please note that full, genuine licensed versions of Microsoft Products cannot usually be downloaded without the separate purchase of an Activation Code .

It is, however generally possible to download Free 60 day Trial versions of some MS Office products.

Microsoft no longer offer and have withdrawn Downloads for MS PowerPoint 2007 or MS Office 2007. All their efforts are now focused on marketing and support for MS Office 2010. Microsoft often does this after a new product has been launched.

If you remain unable to reconcile the software with its correct matching Licence and yet are determined to continue using MS PowerPoint 2007, then you will have to purchase a licensed copy of the software from a reputable, reliable supplier, such as Amazon (www.amazon.com).

Online offers of Free Downloads of MS Office 2007 products are probably almost universally either not genuine, illegal, unlicensed or pre-used licence versions, downloadable only from illicit download sites or sites that are masquerading non-existent MS Office 2007 products as camouflage for the marketing of other (often unrelated) software, products or services.

Even if you do succeed in finding a genuine download site for MS PowerPoint 2007 AND manage to complete a successful, uncorrupted download, you will still have to purchase a separate, genuine, unused Activation Code for the product before you can successfully install it, use it with confidence, register it, activate it and download and benefit from Updates and Security Patches for it from Microsoft. Go to: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/try

Another option is to download MS Office 2010 Pro 60 Day Trial and install it, carefully following each step. If you do not want to buy or cannot afford a full, licensed copy of MS Office 2010, and/or prefer to pursue the downloading option, consider the latest version of a genuine, comparable free program - Open Office- downloadable from: www.openoffice.org You can use Open Office simultaneously with MS Office PowerPoint 2010 60 Day Trial. If you delete MS Office Pro 2010 60 Day Trial, well before the 60 day expiry date, and Remove all components of it from Add or Remove Programs (or its equivalent in your Operating System) and restarting before downloading and installing, it is usually possible to enter into a further 60 Day trial period.

Message in Powerpoint: Part of the file is missing. How to fix it?

your powerpoint file seems to be severely corrupted. You may try to open this file in PowerPoint Fix Toolbox http://www.powerpoint.fixtoolbox.com/ If if it useless follow the steps 1) Open a new presentation and use Insert --> Slides --> From existing presentation to pull in the slides from the corrupted file. This works about 50% of the time. 2) Try using the Clone Me add-in from Microsoft. It may work, it may not. Or see more http://www.filerepairforum.com/forum/microsoft/microsoft-aa/powerpoint/679-could-you-help-me-with-recovering-ppt-file

Powerpoint can't open the type of file represented by........

1. Try some of the things listed below. But first make a backup copy of your presentation and use it, not your original file. Never try any of these recovery techniques on your only copy of a presentation. Things to try: -If you run PowerPoint 2003, choose Help, About Microsoft PowerPoint from the main menu bar. If the About screen doesn't indicate that you have SP1 (Service Pack 1) or higher, you should update your copy of PowerPoint. Choose Help, Check For Updates. When the Office Downloads page opens in your browser, click "Check for Updates" and apply the recommended hotfixes and/or service packs. -If you run Windows XP and have installed SP1, see Files open as Read-Only after installing Windows XP SP1, Other file/path related problems -Open a blank presentation (You can apply the template used for the damaged file, if applicable. That might help cut down on reformatting.) -From the main menu, choose Insert, Slides from File (or if you use PowerPoint 2007, Home tab, New Slides (bottom of button), Reuse Slides. -Try to insert slides individually if you're not able to insert the whole thing 2. If your file became corrupted when PowerPoint or your computer crashed, there may be a temporary version of the file in your TEMP directory. If so, you can try the aforementioned Insert, Slides From File and browse to that file. Or you can try changing the file's extension to PPT and see if you can open it from within PowerPoint using File, Open. You could also do a search for *.TMP files on the off chance that it's not in your TEMP directory. 3. If nothing else works, try opening the presentation in Word to see if you can at least recover the text: -Start Word and choose File, Open -Choose file type "Recover text from any document" -Edit the file as needed 4. If all these three methods don't work, then use third party software PowerPoint Repair Toolbox https://www.repairtoolbox.com/powerpointrepair.html

Where can i find Powerpoint Classroom training for Business Fire Drill Training?

First, where are you located? Also, what is your current computer literacy level? In most cities there are community-based training centres where the cost is free or very low, probably with some options for beginners to more advanced. Another option if you have some basic skills and have read the manual (many are free on line) is to run an ad on Gumtree (or whatever you have in your area) and get just a couple of hours of tuition. This is a quick way to solve the issues you have difficulty in following in the tutorials.

This is because it is in Powerpoint Presentation format. You will need Microsoft Powerpoint to edit it.

Alternatively, if don't have Microsoft Powerpoint (or don't want to spend the huge amount of money it costs) you can download Open Office and edit it for free. Here is the link to Open Office: http://download.openoffice.org/index.html
