Helloi have A kingston 8GB datatraveller in green color.it is good in every way but if I copy A movie file in it and when I move that file to my pc then the file is not played.please do suggest me.thanks

Probably you just copied a shortcut to the location of the files. You need to go back and verify whether this is the case.

Get data back is a file recovery program for flash drives, it may work for this, but if the files are corrupt you would then be recovering corrupt files.

check it write protecting lock in on simply off the write protection and change the name

your pen rive has malfunctioned and there is no way you can get a faulty pen drive working again

1. Open Notepad and do not write anything in it. Just go to File > Save as (save it with the name: autorun.inf)

2. Copy the autorun.inf file that you have created in the above step and paste in your "Pen Drives"

3. Remove your pen drive.

After removing the pendrive, re-insert in your PC. Now your anti-virus will not detect any virus in your PC. And Your pendrive is 100% safe to use.

Try formatting the drive. Should be a problem with the file system.

Look for the DataTraveller in My Computer and then just copy and paste or cut and paste any files you want straight to the DataTraveler.
Right click on the file, select copy or cut (cut will move the file permanently, copy will just make a copy of it)
Right click the DataTraveler and paste.
