Hi My pendrive is write protwcted, Pendrive is

Some pen drives have a small toggle switch with them which make the drive write protected try locating that switch. If there is no such switch then try formatting the drive preferably from safe mode. you can do this by following these steps:1. Shutdown your computer or laptop 2. Insert USB Memory Stick into your laptop or Computer 3. Turn on laptop and then immediately start pressing (Fcool.png key then Advanced Boot Options screen will come up 4. Select Safe Mode with Command Prompt 5. After loading files if your USB Memory Stick drive letter is (G) for example then write as 6. C:\windows\system32>G: and press enter 7. G:\>format G: and press enter 8. If ask you (Y/N) then press (Y) and press enter 9. Now a full format will start which remove write protection from USB Memory Stick.

My kingston DT 101 wont performed because of an l/0 device error

If the drive fails to format, you can try it in other USB ports or a different computer. But if it continues to fail format then it is bad and needs to be replaced.

"Plsase insert a disk in the drive" message for USB drive

Up to you,, if you put a flash drive into your USB port, and windows see's the drive, because its listed under my computer, but when you go to open the drive it says, please insert disk

This is telling you the flash drive has failed.

The only good thing is, if you have anything on the drive, there are programs that will extract the data from the drive so you don't lose it.

You have three options,

Extract the data that is on the drive.

Try a repair program, which can erase the drive when it tries ti repair it.

Send the flash drive to the company for repair.
