My guess is that your drain hose is too high. The pump is in the base of the washer and pushes the water up the tube and into the drain/ when the pump stops, the residual water in the hose drops back into the base of the machine, so the higher the hose, the greater the column of water.
There is a lint filter right under your washer door. You push that lid open, and you will find the lint filter. I have the same machine. but min is an xqg50-11. Is that a washer/dryer combo?
On most 110 mods there was what they called a lint trap at the bottom of the wash basket. You can;t see it without taking the basket out (ya I know dum) you will need special tool to remove basket.that filter has now been replaced by whirlpool with 4 little plugs and the so called filter is removed. You can clean the old one and unit will be fine..for that job I would say to get a pro as it takes me about 2 mins to open and will save you as a home owner a whole lot of headaches..Hope I helped and Thanks for voting
HI- Washer really don't have a lint filter so to speak. Some of the front load washers have a filter in the drain pump but that basically just keep the quarters and bobby pins from ruining the pump. Is it possible to have someone extend your standpipe with a larger diameter pipe that you could place a screen into, or place the screen on the drain hose and then put them both into the larger pipe. A plumber should be able to figure something out. It would be about $1000 dollars cheaper than buying a front-loader and probably more effective. Good luck.
Hi.It may be that these machines dont actually have a lint filter, they are making alot of them without lint filters now days. There would be a button trap down at the side or the rear i would imagine for cleaning out debris such as coins, hair pins,Etc.
does your kenmore dryer have a top lint filter or inside filter?i'am going to guess top, remove the 2 lint filter screws, pull the top toward you and up at the same time, disconnect the lid switch jack, remove the 2 front panel screws one on each side top.pull up and out and the front panel will come off,you don't really have to take the drum out just fit the new belt around it,you should see the marks of the old belt on the drum, line it up with that, let me know how you do-mike
they should be able to order one from any appliance pars store but if not contact avainti here ive worked for them for years most of the time if you contact them they might send you one if not they will get you one http://www.avantiproducts.com/
There is no lint filter in this machine, however, the condensing duct and condensing bellows can get be a problem later on if it gets jammed up with too much lint. If you notice that it takes 50% longer or more to dry your clothes, you will need to have the duct checked and cleared out of excess lint buildup inside. Not an easy job but it can be done.
