Karcher pressure washer leaking oil

I have the same Problem, the leak is from the seam of the Manifold housing. There is a small crack in the seam. A manufacturing defect.. A New Manifold Complete Replacement K2.26* Part # 97501760 is $61.03, about the half the price what I paid for this pressure washer at Walmart... :( If under 1 year old, and you can find a receipt,Karcher will replace the whole Pressure washer under warranty.

Plastic Pump Manifold is cracked.
Can be replace at a local Karcher Service Center, or if you are mechanically handy. Replacement Manifold Complete, is available from www.karcher.com.
If it is under 1 year old, and under warranty Karcher will replace if you have a Receipt proof of purchase.

Is liquid leaking from the base, when the Pressure washer is on ?

Is there a water leaking from the bottom ? If so then there maybe is a small crack in the Pump Plastic Manifold Housing. A New Manifold Complete Replacement is approx. $61.03 from Karcher, if you are mechanically inclined.
If under 1 year old, and you can find a receipt,Karcher will replace the whole Pressure washer under warranty.

unfortunately these little units have this problem commonly, 9 times out of 10 it will be the plastic head or the plastic valve block on the unit will be cracked and leaking slightly... it builds up pressure then leaks out and tries to build up the pressure again and this just reoccurs over and over...

you can get this repaired but is normally about half the cost of a new unit, if the pressure is still okay i would probably recommend just keep using it until it proper dies...

If you do get this fixed, we have studied into this and believe the main cause of heads cracking is warm water say if your inlet hose is in the sun for a period of time this can cause the water to become quite hot or if the unit sits and water trapped inside the head assy freezes can also cause this. where is the leak coming from inside? inlet side of high pressure side

Take it back to Argos. They will either replace it or give you a full refund, no questions asked. That's my experience anyway.

a/c or gas? if a/c you probably have a bad switch. if gasoline you could have no connection to kill wire to coil or the switch is bad.

Hi the pump surges when there is a leak on it find the leak that should sort your prob.
