Borrowed a friend's electric Karcher KB 2020 pressure washer. It is now leaking oil on my garage floor. Is it irretrievably damaged? or can I dismantle & fix. Why has it oil in it anyway?
Usually electric pressure washers only have oil on the pump, so its very likely that you will find the problem there. I'd say check all the pump seals and if that doesnt solve the problem, you can check to see if all bolts are tight when you close the pump back.
If by any chance you are looking for a new machine and/or parts for your machine, log in to www.roncoshop.com where you will be able to find pretty much anything for your preassure washer.
All 4 stroke engines have oil, and 2 stroke can have a oil mixer reservoir to mix with engine gas or to lube the chains , gears, pumps.
If yours is 4 stroke as likely then the oil may be leaking at the seals to the main. (bad news)
Pressure wash it (lol) and locate the leak,
to speed up the leak you can pump some compressed air into the engine (be creative)

I specified "Electric" pressure washer. It does not have a 4-stroke engine - yes I posted it under a different Pressure washer, the site did not allow any other option!
