I have a set of Bose desktop speakers and I get an echo effect
1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, and then click Sound.
2. In the Sound window right-click your Speakers and select Configure Speakers.
3. Follow the on-screen setup, and Test the available configurations.
4. Indentify whether or not one configuration appears to have less of an “echo” than others.
5. If the issue is resolved by modifying the configuration then you do not need to do anything further
Hi dichubby, to fix the "Echo."
Do the following:
From the "Desktop Screen," [Right / Alt] click on the Volume Icon.
Once the 'window' open!
Select the "Playback Device" shortcut.
Next, highlight the Speaker icon,
or {2x click} to open the [Properties] 'window'.
Select the Enhancements" {Tab} ...
"You can place a [Check] in the "Disable all sound effects."
Or click on the Settings: Down-arrow, and choose a "Sound Effect, 'or' None!"
This should fix the 'echo.'
Click on the "Apply and OK" button when finished!
