Wont Start When i turn it on, it stays in the initial screen and do not load.

You could try performing a factory initialization - but note that initialization of the Tascam DP-02 erases all recorded data from the drive.
To perform a factory initialization of the DP-02 turn the unit off. Hold the Up Arrow and Track Edit while powering the recorder on. You'll get a confirmation screen and then press the Yes/Enter button.

Are you able to access the utility menu by pressing shift & F4? If you can then: 1. Press UTILITY. 2. Press PAGE until ?PrmIni? appears above F1. 3. Press F1 (PrmIni). 4. Turn the Time/Value dial to select: ? MIXER & UTILITY ?to initialize both the mixer and UTILITY parameters. ? MIXER ?to initialize only the mixer parameters. ? UTILITY ?to initialize only the UTILITY parameters. 5. Press F5 (OK)?a confirmation screen appears. 6. If you?re sure you want to proceed, press ENTER/YES. To cancel the operation, press EXIT/NO. This should restore the factory default settings.

Have you tried unplugging the monitor from the 120 volt supply for a minute or two then replug and turn on. Like computers and some flat panel TVs they can freeze-up after an unplanned power loss and need rebooting

u should be more specific my freind but as i understand that it is a problem of resolution or refresh rate so boot the pc with another monitor & try to change the resolution & refresh rate to a desirable for ur lcd

You have corrupt software in the internal system. Solution: Seek a repair center like the Jungle Ghost at http://www.jungleghost.com/repair_service.shtml and they will repair it. If the unit is in warranty .. return to Magellan

Try to get hold of a bootable xp pro disk and boot from it, when finished loading the initial drivers and files onto the system gointo the 'R' option recovery console, this is a command line recovery, once there type chkdsk c:/f and press enter let it run its coarse and then restart pc.

Will it stay running if you keep the pedal depressed. If so you have a Idle Air Control valve issue. If it wont run at all it may be a bad fuel pump

To update the firmware of the M42xx mp3 player click here and download the firmware. start the firmware and when it is runnin plug the M42xx in at the same time holding down the PLAY BUTTON (center) until a white screen with a small computer with a line going to your M42xx is displayed and then release the PLAY button. You can then click on start and the firmware update will complete,,, DO NOT DISCONNECT DURING THIS UPDATE... it may take 2 times to complete this but it will work.... YEA!!!! WORKS with 2, 4 or 8 GB Models.....

try to power up with power cord only and see if it works. If no lights turn on than your motherboard is dead. If it turns on and nothing happens make sure there is memory installed(RAM). If it turns on and you see windows screen than it shuts off than your operating system needs to be installed again. Also, you can try booting in safe mode by hitting f8 when you initially start your computer and see if it stays on and if it does you have a virus most likely. Good luck.
