When I wash a load of clothes, at least one article of clothing gets a hole or multiple holes in it. Has anyone else experienced this? We have model GWL10US ROW.

Try putting less clothes in on a wash. The main problem is caused due to draining. My brother had this problem. Try stop your washing machine before draining and hand drain them over the sink. Best advice I can give on that one sorry
Most likely to be something lodged in one of the holes inside the drum - commonly a wire from an underwired bra!
Examine the internal surface of the drum carefully with your hands to see if you can find anything protruding. If you find anything it does not belong there. Use a pair of pliers to gently but firmly remove it, maybe having to twist it to take account of the fact that it will now be bent.
check to see if theres anything in the tub that feels sharp. Make sure theres nothing stuck in the small holes. Also, check out the rubber boot. DOes it look worn? what clothes are getting holes? is it all of them? Colors only? Whites only? Do a maual check on the inside of it with a flashlight to make sure no sharp objest are stuck aor what not?
I'd bet the holes are the same size as the holes in the dryer tumbler. the only thing I can think of is that your dryer isn't tumbling and the heat that is pushed through the holes is burning your clothes.
Inspect the rubber seal, and steel drum to make sure there is no foreign object sticking out, which could be tearing holes in your clothes. Also check to see if any of the holes in the steel drum are dented in. or out or misshaped, as this could cause the tumbling action of the drum to tear clothes.
Hi
Its probably coming from the outer drum of your machine. That's what holds the water. Your inner drum, what you see, is full of holes and allows the water to pass through in the drum and wash the clothes. that outer drum gets crud in it which then passes through the holes onto your clothes. the easiest way to get rid of it is to get a product called "affresh" from W mart or the big Hardware chains and follow the directions. Good Luck
