Control panel non-responsive

After plugging the gas range back into the wall socket after cleaning, the control panel began to beep and flash continuously. After disconnecting and re-connecting the ribbon connection from the computer board at the back of the gas range a few times, the beeping and flashing continued, fro a while, but now everything has stopped and gone blank, no sound or flashing from the control board. How do I get the control panel back? Any ideas?

My oven was set to self clean. It got extremely hot and the it began beeping and flashing F1. I turned the circuit off, because I wasn't sure if it meant "Fire". So is it ok to turn the circuit...

Frigidaire's slide-in ovens feature an electronic oven controller, which serves to monitor and diagnose most electrical problems within the oven. If any of the oven's electrical systems fail, the controller will prevent the oven from functioning and will display a flashing "F" code on the oven's digital display and produce a beeping sound. To stop the beeping and clear the display, press the "STOP/CLEAR" button on the oven's control panel. Many times, the problem can be remedied by simply resetting the oven's controls. First, turn all of the oven's control knobs to the "Off" position, then allow the oven to cool to room temperature. If, after turning the oven on again, the "F" code still displays on the digital display, contact Frigidaire, as the wiring is likely to be defective.

Getting beeps and f1 error code after canceling cleaning mode a little early.

Hi dear.According to your explanation,Getting beeps & F1 code meaning: F1
Supervisory relay enable shorted (non-cook mode); sounds alarm and inhibits cook mode if alarm fault monitor is always active in non-cook mode, and requires removal of power until serviced.
Usually a bad touch pad or clock assembly (also called the ERC). Replace touchpad or ERC
I hope that helps.Thanks.

The E1- F5 error is a door lock error.

The control (TIMER) has likely failed in this instance - BUT...

Sometimes when you disconnect power to a range and reconnect it the electronic range control gets confused.
You should disconnect power again for 15 seconds and reconnect and see if that helps.

If it doesn't cure the E1- F5 error hold the bake button in until E0- F2 appears in the display.
This is the error for a stuck button on the keypad and is the way to clear the memory of the electronic range control.

Sometimes these work, but if the control has failed it won't make any difference.

Control panel quit working.

I guess it just dried out. A couple of hours later the panel began working again. Strange. You would think it would be sealed so that spills, etc. couldn't get in there.

Self clean oven door wouldn't unlock!

Hi,
Try a trick that was given by an expert :-
All I needed to do was unscrew the 2 screws holding the lock assembly and it released it!! I screwed it back in and set the oven to self clean and it worked!!
Unless , F9 refers to slave micro not working. A condition in which you might need to replace control board.
Thanks.

Door locks and F9 fault codes

The F9 code indicates there is a problem with the door lock.

Try disconnecting the power to the range for 10 seconds and reconnecting. Open the oven door and hold the door switch plunger in while you try these things. Put the control into clean for 5 minutes then cancel clean. You must hold the door switch plunger in for the 5 minutes.

Try canceling the clean cycle without putting the control into clean.

Dacor ERDS30 clock and display OK, all bake buttons non responsiv

Most likely the interuption of power is what caused the problem. try shutting down the circuit breaker that controls the range for 30 minutes then turn it back on if this does not reset the electronics. You may need to replace the keypanel and /or electronic control as either or both may have been damaged by the power surge.
