Oven doors are designed to have some movement in and out to accommodate sealing against the gasket. If you're not getting a good seal check the condition of the gasket. If it's hard and inflexible you'll need to replace it. About 5-6 years of normal use can make these hard and inflexible. I just looked and Bosch calls this the 'Door Seal' pn 1052639

The broiler and oven burner are the same. The igniter can be easily(relative) replaced. Remember the igniter is ON the entire time the flame is present, so it will fail with time.

For me, I had the same problem. The Solution - I unplugged the oven, then unscrewed the back of the top part and removed it. The control panel's adhesive had failed on one side, so that it came away from the glass. I pressed it back on and held it until it stuck and now it works. I expect it to fail again if my oven gets real hot, so I am looking for "hi-temp rtv" to replace the failing adhesive.

The problem is likely a faulty igniter. It's an easy fix, though an expensive part to replace (about $75 from APP). I had the exact problem and found this answer on another site. Just check out your igniter (under the plate on the bottom of your oven.. remove the screws in the back and lift off that plate).. the igniter is a long flat piece that should be glowing red.. if not.. that's your problem. Good luck.

It appear that Bosch stoves are sensitive to the orientation of the hot and neutral. Mine was reversed at the outlet. I changed it to be correct and it fixed the problem

The slides require replacing.The functions part on the rear of either the right or left side has failed causing your drawer not to close. It cannot lock so the spring pushes it out. The part on the rear that locks it in, and ejects it out some how gets damaged. Need a T 20 star/torque bit to replace. The part number for the slides is 12024638. You can pull out the drawer but be careful of the rail that will stick out. Don't let the drawer land on your feet. If you don't order the parts yourself and install this, you may call the Bosch service to do such for you --though you have noted the expense.

Although there is power entering the range (as measured at the electrical connection for the inlet), the range will not turn on by itself. Despite the fact that there is no shortage of gas, the gas top will not light up.

Well i now have the answer to the bosch stove dilemmas if you have a glass touch panel on your bosch stove and you can't get the touch buttons to work right then check the circut board on the back of the glass it is cheaply held to the glass with a non hardening caulk and when your oven heats up the glass panel
the caulk gets so soft that the circut board and the caulk seperate causing inconsistent button operation. To solve this push the circut board and its frame back to the glass then get some aluminium tape at the building supply you shop at in the heating section and tape it into place so it can't seperate anymore then it should work for you. Make sure you have everything grounded properly.If you are concerned about the grounding you can use duct tape to be safe. ( there has been a lot of complaints about glass touch panel incosistentcies on more than one model so im 90% sure this will fix those too).
