Canon PIXMA iP4000

Hi, my printer is printing blank pages. I have just installed new ink, all colors, they are in correct, I have tried cleaning the head, I have tried deep cleaning as well. I don't lnow what to do. The printer moves like it's printing but all it does is spit out a blank page ( no lines etc) nothing.

I too have a Pixma ip4000. It now acts like it is printing, but only blank pages come out. I have bought a new print head (canon), alligned the head, placed new ink cartriges in (removed the tape over the holes), cleaned and deep cleaned the heads, cleaned the bottom plate, and the printer acts normal, just nothing but blank pages come out.

What is there left to do?

My canon pixma ip4000 has stopped printing. It is going through the motions but the paper is coming out blank with nothing on it.

Hi
If you have lots of flashing error lights or electrical problems then it is likely to be electrical.

However, if like most... and your Canon PIXMA iP4000 InkJet Photo Printer has just been left unused for some time? You probably have an ink clog on the cyan and magenta.
Or possibly a faulty cartridge.

Provided it worked OK before a period of non-use? Then you just need to use a PRINT HEAD CLEANING KIT to unclog the tiny jets.
Magic Inkjet Flush usually works a treat on those!

Magic is ideal for unclogging the tiny jets on any Canon, Epson HP andremoving those horrible white lines which usually appear in prints whendried ink clogs several jets...

So if yours appears to be a clog? all you should need to do is to use the Magic Inkjet Flush kit to soak the print head and you should be printing again like new.

I am having a problem with my Canon PIXMA iP4000. My black does not print properly. If I go through the nozzle cleaning I get 1 or 2 good pages, then the quality deters. By the time I get to page 5 or 6 it...

It sounds like you have a faulty black cartridge. Have you tried a OEM cartridge? Sometimes aftermarket/refilled cartridge inks are not up to specs and gum up the nozzles. It sounds like the problem you are having.

Canon iP90 only prints blank pages

Remove the printer from control panel, under installed printers, then unplug the usb cable and reinstall the printer drivers using printer cd, or download from canon support website.

Canon pixma ip4000 color not printing correctly with full inks

In both cases be sure using correct ink. Use of generic ink can lead to leakage of catrridge seats do to crossion from inferrior ink quality (per Cannon). Be sure ink in proper locations - see manual. Run the maintenance proceedures: cleaning then print nozzle pattern. If all colors are not proper after two or three cleanings, perform deep cleaning. Print nozzle pattern after each cleaning. This should clear up problem. If not, print head may need replacement.
