As there is no USB port on this IC Recorder, you can connect the Headphone OUT of the IC Recorder to the LINE IN of the Computer. Then, use any Sound Recorder Software to capture the files. You can also use the Sound Recorder Software preinstalled in the Computer. After transferring the recordings to the Computer, you can use any CD Burning Software to burn the files to a CD.

I need to transfer the audio I recorder on my sony digital voice recorder icd-bx112 to my computer. I don't know how.

There is no direct transfer. You can connect the recorder to a computer and play back the message to an audio recording program on the computer. See "Recording on Other Equipment" on the second page of the manual: http://www.fixya.com/support/p2654563-sony_icd_bx112_voice_recorder/usermanual-0607A34-pdf

CAN I TRANSFER MY RECORDING FROM MY ICD-B20 TO MY COMPUTER?

I assume this voice recorder doesn't have a place to attach a USB. If not, you can always plug the speaker output into a computer's microphone input and re-record the sound with software in the computer, like Microsoft Sound Recorder.

Sony ICD-B500 recorder keeps flashing HOLD.

Look on the case. You'll see a button that slides. It takes it off of HOLD. HOLD mode is good to protect the recordings while the unit gets put in a pocket or purse.

Copy RCA Digital Recorder to CD

Hello the way you are trying to do it is more complicated, I recommend sell your unit and upgrade to another unit that transfer audio files fast and will give you more time recording and better record quality for example this model has a software the is really easy to record in to a CD on different audio formats if you want plus you will received a Dragon® NaturallySpeaking® 9 Recorder Edition that you can change audio to text the price is really good check it if you want

ICD-B500 Recorder

An adapter will not fix the problem. The files cannot be transferred to a computer using a USB port. The files must be transferred analog using the recorder's headphone cord. The files are then recorded to the computer from the Sony recorder using a program such as Windows Recorder. The ICD-B500 has many great features but archiving to a computer is not one of them.

Transfer recording from tape recorder to computer

Use a cable running from the headphone jack on the recorder into your PC microphone jack. Then you can capture the audio using Windows MovieMaker software that comes with Windows XP. I have done this and it worked perfectly.
