Doesn't want to print

Sending document to printer, OK, printer seems to receive OK, starts its' process moving back and forth just like always getting ready to print. I hear it start to pull the next sheet of paper from tray, then it stops, the indicator light blinks on and off, acts like it is out of paper. Plenty of paper in tray, tried more, and less, same. Seems as though something is blocking paper from getting to rollers. Have tried to hand feed to rollers when when calling for a sheet, all does is pull it down and then feed straight through and out no print. Printed OK day before this started, first sheet wanted to print, printed first couple lines then stopped and held paper then fed on through no print. Turn off and restart does the same, acts like going to print as normal then stops, ink tray always stops at the position where open lid to replace cartridges. Also has plenty of ink. Error message on screen simply states printer problem not working, no "out of paper" or "low ink" etc. Tried other documents using diff programs same thing

CClean The MX882 ADF (Automatic Document Feeder)

Be sure to turn off the power and unplug the power cord before cleaning the machine.

  • The power cannot be turned off while the machine is sending or receiving a fax, or when the received fax or unsent fax are stored in the machine's memory. Make sure if the machine completed sending or receiving all the faxes before disconnecting the power cord.

  • The machine cannot send or receive faxes when the power is turned off.

  • If you unplug the power cord, all the faxes stored in the machine's memory will be deleted.

Print the necessary faxes or save them to the memory card/USB flash drive before unplugging the power cord.

  1. Open the Document Tray.

How to receive fax documents

You cannot receive fax using this printer, because this printer doesn't support fax sending/receiving. Only fax supported printers can receive fax documents. You will know if a printer is fax support if you see a Fax button there or if you can see a numpad buttons where you can dial numbers.

These are the photo examples of fax printers

Printing blank pages when receiving fax

Ask if the ones sending are sending legal size, it may be using 2 sheets to get all from a legal size document.

Sending schrinked faxes

We have this problem sending faxes back and forth (the same document). Every time it sends it shrinks it a little bit more. The only solution we came up with was to start scanning everything and sending it by way email.

Hope this helps!

turn collate off the printer will treat each page as a separate job slowing the machine down.

Canon imagerunner c3200 stuck in processing data

If you don't print via a server, you can turn the iRC3200 off...then back on and that will clear the print jobs.
If after doing this it STILL has a traffic jam in the print que when trying to print the same document then stop sending THAT particular document as the document has a formatting issue and NOT the printer.
If you DO use a print server then you(or your I.T Professional) need to go to the server and clear the print jobs from the server.

Sending Faxes

When the last page of your document has been sent successfully, the machine beeps and returns to Standby mode. When something goes wrong while sending your fax, an error message appears on the display. If you receive an error message, press Stop/Clear to clear the message and try to send the document again. You can set your machine to print a confirmation report automatically each time sending a fax is completed. If you get the error message write it down it should always supply an error message if the fax did not go through.

Printing problem

This error message indicates that the printer memory is full. You might be sending too many documents to print at the same time. I would suggest dividing the number of documents/pages into smaller groups so the printer can take the load. Hope this helps!
