Aqua glass jetted tub quit working

We had two power outages and after the last one, it quit working. I bought the house two years ago and the tub worked perfectly until the last major snow storm. There were no books on the tub so I don't know if it has a reset button on the motor or if something major happened when the power went out. To have it repaired, if necessary, do I call an electrician or plumber?

Hello. There are two reset buttons in the mechanical space or your tub. You should be able to access that area from the front by removing a few screws. it is not uncommon to have to push those reset buttons after a power outage. If you do need a repair I recommend that you call a store that sells hot tubs as they will have a technician on staff or be able to guide you to one. Regards, Joe

Hot Tub won't Turn On.

First check the breaker box for the house and see if it has power.

Aqua Glass whirlpool, Indulgence collection, pump turns on and works briefly, then jets stop.

First of all, what you have is a WOW pump that has an E-switch for a control.
There is a knob on the top lip of your tub that you turn a 1/4 turn to turn this pump on/off.
There is a small circuit board inside the box on top of the motor. This is likely the source of your problem.
Here is your biggest problem. That little circuit board is not made anymore. We have the e-switch but you will be better off changing out the pump (which you have to do anyway) with a new WOW pump with an air switch and change the switch on the top lip of the tub to an air button which will turn the pump on/off.

I have an Aqua Glass Jaccuzzi that I haven't used in 10 years. The last time it was used it worked perfectly. Now I can't turn it on at all. I don't remember is just the round dial that

Check the circuit breaker and make sure you have power to the pump.
If you have power to the pump and it is not operational when the tub is full of water and you are in it then I would say you have a serious problem.
Most all of the older control that Aquaglass has used in the past have been discontinued.
You may want to visit this link and identify your control before you begin t trouble shoot your system.

We bought a house with an Aqua Glass jetted tub. When we tried to turn it on nothing happens. At our inspection in July it was working fine. There is no way to get in to the front of the tub and no box. ...

Get the manual and study how it works. Then with this new knowledge you will have a good idea of just what to look for.
Is power reaching the unit? ON/off switch good? Circuit breaker? Is water reaching the unit/valve shut off?

It has to be something simple.

Aqua glass whirlpool tub leaks. looking for closure caps to close off the jets for good.

To my knowledge there are no closure caps for your tub; you can however purchase new jets with new seals if the tub is leaking through the jets.

Aquglass jet tub will only humm no bubbles out of none of the jet

When a motor hums, it usually is the result of what is called "locked rotor." This can occur when the motor's brushes remain on one pair of the commutator contacts. The magnetic field does not shift to the next set of windings and the rotor is locked in place by the unchanging magnetic field.

If you have access to the motor, turn on the power briefly and place your hand gently on the side of the motor. Probably you will feel the vibration of the hum you are hearing, together with some heat. In locked-rotor condition, the motor draws high amperage and heats up quickly. Turn off the power.

If this is the condition, the motor is shot and needs to be replaced. You should copy down the information from the name plate (model and serial number, manufacturer, horsepower, amperage, etc.) and contact the manufacturer or a local appliance parts store about a replacement.

As you said that you recently bought the house, you may have a home-owners warranty which may cover the appliance.
