If it won't rinse because it won't fill, it's most probably because the cold water inlet valve is faulty. Many machines will only rinse with cold water....No cold water.....No rinse!! Not a big job.....Nomess

Hello your Spring goes on bottom rigth when you open the cassette door is in the inside like a small round one if you have problems try to put it back you can send it for service to

To make sure it is not due to any water left that you cannot see, lay the drain hose down to floor level, and drain off any remaining water. The door locks works on air pressure, so will not release until all water has gone.
If it still does not open, then it could be the door release mechanism is faulty, or the belt come off.
This being the case, then the only way to open the door is from inside the washer.
Remove top cover, and reach down to the door lock and pull up on the lock from the bottom.

no manual way.
check machine has drained fully - if not door will not open. in this case, put drain hose down at floor level in a shallow dish to drain
otherwise
disconnect from mains.take top off. feel down front of machine where door latch is and you should be able to feel door peg thro the interlock. pry to one side with thumb nail to open (this is quite difficult)
or
break door handle off and lever door peg with a small screwdriver

next time its empty open the door take the metal drum and test for any movement if you hear/feel a knocking the drum bairings need replaced, makes it spin if centre

i managed to find a lip underneath the carbon bush
lifted it up slightly and slid out the plastic casing to the side
then replaced the new ones

I have just had exactly the same problem. 10 seconds of washing, fuse blew, replaced it, cycle completed but now the door lock is stuck on. Like you I tried a new cycle but this has done nothing. In the end (and I'm not suggesting that this a remedy to the problem) I unplugged the machine - pulled the door handle til a gap appeared at the top of the door and forced it open by working a pair of scissors in to the gap and pulling. Of course as soon as I shut the door again and turned on the power the lock light came straight back on the and the door was locked tight. Sorry but this is the best I have come up with short of calling some one out.

get an engineer to do it , much easier , its not hard but for a novice fiddly . an enginner should also bed the new brushes in with a special stone ... i normally charge about 40 pound including parts .
