LG Dishwasher LD-1403W makes very loud whirring noise intermittently during wash & rinse cycles. It is less than 3 years old & has been well maintained. It still cleans the dishes well, but the noise gets worse every time we use it.
A couple of weeks ago it came up with 0E error code 3 times during one wash (indicates drainage issue). Each time I checked, it had drained fine & it ended up finishing wash ok. No error codes before or since.
I've checked and thoroughly cleaned all strainer parts and spray arms. From the research I've been doing, I suspect that it is either the wash pump or the MOTOR ASSY,PUMP DPO25-208 HANNING. What is the best way to distinguish between the two?
I've uploaded some audio of the noise on this page:

Any advice would be VERY much appreciated. Thank you in advance!
We had same problem machine same age, had a service person in and the found that the motor was dying. LG wouldn't cover saying that it was normal wear and tear. b
