When I turned the power on and in a few seconds I saw flash fire for a few seconds from the top middle part of the amp, and the system went into protect mode. This is the second time it's happening. The first time I got it repaired from the dealer service centre itself.
The flash probably was a small resistor burning. While not particualrly common, it does happen. The output transistors are shorted and need to be replaced. If the same channel is bad as the first time, there is a possability that the unit was not completely repaired. Some shops only change the shorted transistor within the transistor pair. This is poor practice and usually leads to another failure of the same channel Check your previous invoice for the parts replaced. The entire complimentary pair of output transistors should have been replaced. If only 1 iof the 2 were replaced, you may have an argument for a warranty repair.
Please keep us posted on your progress.
