With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage is below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.

I have a sony s-master digital amplifier which will not power up: when I plug it i to power it takes about 30 minutes before the red standby light comes on but no other functions operate.

So the standby indicator never changes state? If so, more than likely, your amplifier has DC Offset(a damaged amplifier inside) which will keep the speakers off, and disable any use of the front or remote functions. If you are interested in having your Sony repaired, please refer to my website, audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there. Thank you.

NAD M3 power light turns red immediately and PROTECT message displays. Amp keeps functioning but volume control doesn't work up or down.

Hello
Check the connection to speaker with this amp, for any short or any other fault. disconnect the outputs, ie, speakers from the amp, and switch it On, and see the protect display comes or not. If it comes, the fault is internal and the set need service.
Your M3 dual Mono integrated amp, is of high output power and its outputs are protected against any overload or short circuit. If the system detect any among this condition specified above, it will show protect mode display.
Never load this amp, as protection display is there, as it may damage the speaker or its internal power amplifier section circuits, may cause more money to get it repaired. OK.

hi,
may be ur amplifiers any of the output channel have some problem. that's why it goes off after power on, protecting ur speakers. disconnect all the speakers and inputs and then power on it if works check ur speakers and inputs. if not there is fault inside ur amplifier.

When I depress the shutter button to take a photo the green light turns to red and will not take a photo. New battery. Help?

Red light indicates battery is out of charged.

What type of battery are you using?

the recommended battery for your camera is the AA Ni-MH batteries
now if your using this batteries Ni-Mh and charged it still id did the same thing., How long you already used this batteries more than 2 years now? If yes it means the battery or the Ni-MH is already defective it means that the chemical contect of the Ni-MH is already crystallized and for you to solve it you need to reconditioned the battery or may be purchased a new battery. Gudluck!
