I have a Frigidaire Gallery Series front loading dryer and it keeps giving me an error(?) code, E68. When I start the dryer, it runs for a couple of minutes and then It starts beeping and flashing this code and finally cuts off and all the lights start blinking randomly. Not to long ago the light bulb inside burnt out, but I can't imagine that this is contributing to the problem. Please help, me clothes are mildewing.

this is a fault code that means there is a stuck key on the board you may have to remove the control panel and check the keys if this does not work you may have to replace the panel or control board

Does someone know the procedure to free a stuck push button? My FEQ1422ES1 has a stuck dryer heat select push button. E68 was the error code, during the push button test it did not beep, and I am unable to change the drying mode by pressing the button (High, Normal, Low, No Heat). However, the dryer works. It just beeps randomly and sometimes 4 status lights flash on the far right.

Hi friends, I fixed my dryer some time ago by adding a 1/2 watt 10kohm resistor to the dryness button to ground as a pulldown to ground, usually read 19kohms in that input, after perform the button tests you will see that the dryness button is not working, and after soldering the resistor you just need to clear the error flag and will work as expected. any more questions write to [email protected]
